Dear newsletter readers -
The platform that I use to publish the newsletter - Substack - has just launched an innovative new platform where we can share links, short posts, quotes, photos and more. It’s called Substack Notes, and I’m wondering if some newsletter readers might enjoy joining me there?
Notes aims to be a healthier alternative to the social media environment we find these days at places like Twitter and Facebook. I envision using it for things that don’t fit in the newsletter, like work-in-progress or quick questions to readers.
You can also share notes of your own. I hope this becomes a space where every reader of RetirementRevised can share thoughts, ideas, and interesting quotes from the things we're reading.
I’ve also been chatting about Notes with some other writers who cover retirement and aging, and there’s a chance that this could evolve into an interesting community of people interesting in these topics. We’ll have to see about that.
Using Notes is free - if you’d like to give it a try, use these instructions to get started.
How to join
Head to substack.com/notes or find the “Notes” tab in the Substack app. As a subscriber to RetirementRevised, you’ll automatically see my notes. Feel free to like, reply, or share them around!
If you encounter any issues, you can always refer to the Notes FAQ for assistance. Looking forward to seeing you there!
Looking forward to taking your Notes, Mark.
