Special update - Social Security offices closed during coronavirus crisis

I’m sending out a special mid-week update to alert you that the Social Security Administration has closed its field office network to the public in most situations until further notice because of the coronavirus public health crisis, starting today. Offices that hear disability insurance appeals also are closed.
