Mitch Tuchman on the future of tech-driven investing

My guest on the podcast this week is Mitch Tuchman, a pioneer in what we now call the roboadvisor business - that is, investment advisory services that rely on software and algorithms to manage client portfolios. Mitch saw the need for a new low-cost approach to portfolio management back in 2008 when he started MarketRiders, one of the very first robos. But the model quickly evolved beyond just software to a blend of technology and human advice in the successor company he started, called Rebalance

Mitch has an interesting personal story - Rebalance is a second career that was born out of a deeply personal mission stemming from challenges that his own family faced. We talked about that, and a range of other current topics in the retirement investing world, including what he thinks people approaching retirement really need today in terms of planning services. We also reflected on the legacy of Jack Bogle, the founder of Vanguard who passed away recently.
